Having face to face interactions with customers, my communication skills have greatly improved and I have gained confidence to tackle difficult situations. I also developed the ability in explaining the technical aspect of the insurance policy in layman terms. My sense of responsibility increased to a great level as I was also responsible to make payments to customers on the system. Moreover I realised the importance of team work because we were all assigned a responsibility for a particular claim thus we relied on our colleagues towards final settlement of claims. My second work experience was at Kingston University as a clearing hotliner where I developed extensively my communication skills especially over the phone. Fast learning is one of my main qualities which was demonstrated in my ability to fully use the recruitment system of the university within three days, therefore I am confident I can easily learn and use any new system in a short amount of time.
